New RAC deal ensures Lloyds TSB autolease drivers stay on the road
A new deal between Lloyds TSB autolease and the RAC will ensure that customers of the UK’s leading vehicle leasing company will suffer minimal disruption should their vehicle suffer a roadside breakdown.
All Lloyds TSB autolease company vehicle drivers with full maintenance contracts will now be given a free replacement vehicle for 48 hours should the RAC be unable to repair their vehicle at the roadside. The new contract will mean that the RAC will provide a replacement vehicle depending on what is most suitable for the driver, ensuring minimum disruption.
The new service is not only available to company car drivers. Small commercial vehicle drivers with maintenance contracts will also receive replacement vans for 48 hours, ensuring drivers can get home easily and companies can still guarantee delivery irrespective of roadside breakdowns.
Steve Phillips, Head of Fleet Operations at Lloyds TSB autolease said: “In negotiating the new breakdown cover contract with the RAC we wanted to ensure that we got the best possible service for our customers, and a service that reflected the fact that they drove a vehicle from the UK’s number one fleet hire company.”
