Lloyds TSB autolease wins top road safety award
Brake, the UK’s Road Safety Charity has named Lloyds TSB autolease as its ‘Fleet Service Provider 2006’ at its Fleet Safety Forum Awards for Excellence.
The annual event was held on Friday 30th June at a prestigious gala dinner in Stratford-upon-Avon. Brake holds the Awards for Excellence in order to promote best practice among companies and to reward professionals who have worked significantly to improve the safety of vehicle operations.
Nigel Stead, Managing Director at Lloyds TSB autolease comments: “For several years, our company has been at the forefront of the industry, offering organisations support and guidance in addressing their road safety concerns. Brake recognised that the development and launch of Fleet Sense, our all-encompassing Duty of Care solution, represented only one small component of our action. For example, during Brake’s National Road Safety Week in November, we conducted an extensive awareness-raising radio campaign, communicating to an audience of almost three million UK drivers.”
The awards are run by the Fleet Safety Forum, a division of the road safety charity Brake, to recognise the achievements of those working in the rapidly developing field of road risk management. Entries were judged by an independent panel of industry experts.
Nigel added: “This year has been another great year for everybody at Lloyds TSB autolease. In addition to this award from Brake, we recently won the ITM’s award for ‘UK Fleet Solutions Company 2006’ and were recognised as offering the best overall service out of the top 10 leasing companies in the independent Sewells Contract Hire Survey 2006. These messages confirm what our customers already know – that we remain the leading fleet provider in the UK.”
