Lloyds TSB autolease secures contract to provide WA Shearings with new Mini-bus fleet
The deal means that Lloyds TSB autolease will provide WA Shearings with 55 brand new Volkswagen Transporter Shuttles.
WA Shearings selected Lloyds TSB autolease to become the sole supplier of these minibuses for a new venture they are launching, as part of an ongoing process of continued development.
Making use of its Specialist Commercial Vehicle Unit – the largest and most successful of its kind currently operating in the fleet industry – Lloyds TSB autolease was able to identify the Volkswagan Transporter as being the vehicle most suitable to meeting WA Shearings needs, as it combines a large amount of storage facilities for bags and cases with an excellent level of comfort and reliability.
Created in 2005, WA Shearings is a modern holiday company which specialises in worldwide holidays for the more mature customer. The group consists of 40 hotels and 12 high street travel shops selling a variety of holiday and travel related services.
Jimmy King, Transport Director at WA Shearings comments: “At WA Shearings, we place great importance on our customers and we noticed that there was no specific service in place to shuttle our passengers, from their homes, to the coach depot. The 55 minibuses we have received from Lloyds TSB autolease will be used to do exactly this, removing the time and cost implications they previously faced arranging their own transportation.
