Industry Recognition for Lloyds TSB Autolease
The awards, which took place on 20th May, are presented annually to those motor manufacturers, service companies and individuals who have, in the opinion of the judges, achieved the highest possible level of excellence in their sector.
Grahame Neagus, Head of the Specialist Commercial Vehicle Unit (SCVU) at Lloyds TSB Autolease, said: “It is great to be presented with the Editors Award and it is wonderful recognition of the high level of service we provide to our clients. We have worked hard to develop our Specialist Commercial Vehicle Unit and are proud to know that it has achieved award winning status for the second time in six months.”

Since its launch in 2003, Lloyds TSB Autolease’s Specialist Commercial Vehicle Unit (SCVU) has quickly developed into the largest team within the contract hire industry focussing solely on the light commercial vehicle (LCV) market. LCV business now accounts for around a quarter of the Lloyds TSB Autolease portfolio and is a core part of its business strategy.
Lloyds TSB Autolease is committed to continually developing innovative solutions to help customers effectively manage commercial vehicle fleets, which greatly impressed the Van Fleet World Honours judges and contributed to Lloyds TSB Autolease being presented with the editor’s award accolade.
Our most recent innovations have been developed to help meet the growing demand for fleets to measure the carbon footprint of their light commercial vehicles and control costs. These include a Whole Life Cost model and an ground-breaking LCV emissions calculator; an industry first which enables customers to accurately calculate the emissions of their LCVs.
In addition, the SCVU has evolved the flexibility of its consultative and financial products so that customers can mix and match products for individual vehicles or across the fleet, also created the SCVU Training Academy to increase in-house technical expertise and broaden staff knowledge of LCV-specific issues.
