Breakdown Recovery
Our Breakdown Recovery option will provide you with a comprehensive programme, in conjunction with the RAC, which drivers can access through a dedicated freephone line. Our fleet assistance programme provides round-the-year cover and includes:
- recovery - if the vehicle can not be fixed on the spot, they will take your driver and the vehicle, along with up to 8 passengers, to the driver's chosen destination
- at home - the RAC will attend whether the vehicle is at home or work
- onward travel - the RAC will make alternative travel arrangements for the driver, or arrange hotel accommodation
- European cover - the cover includes issuing travel documents, such as vehicle-on-hire certificates, and information on the legal requirements for travelling abroad as well as comprehensive breakdown cover whilst outside the UK
- a dedicated Breakdown Recovery line run in conjunction with the RAC, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
- a dedicated European service line to help arrange European travel documents
Together with the RAC, we set annual performance targets for our roadside assistance. We monitor our performance on a monthly basis, and hold regular review meetings.
